About us Know Boundaries is a clinician owned practice currently providing services in Middle Tennessee. Our mission is to not only provide exceptional services and endless opportunities for our clients, but our fellow clinicians as well. With the help of our behavior analysts and behavior technicians we offer specialized behavior therapy services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Position Summary We are seeking a qualified and compassionate professional to conduct diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Autism Diagnostic Specialist will be responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, collaborating with families and interdisciplinary providers, and providing clear diagnostic recommendations and next steps for care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience administering and interpreting autism-specific assessment tools. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder across pediatric populations Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, CARS-2, developmental assessments, behavioral rating scales) Complete clinical interviews and developmental history reviews with caregivers Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers including BCBAs, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians Prepare timely, accurate, and comprehensive diagnostic reports Provide feedback sessions to families regarding evaluation results, diagnoses, and recommendations Maintain documentation in accordance with clinical, ethical, payer, and state guidelines Participate in case consultation and treatment planning as needed Requirements Licensed Psychologist, Developmental Psychologist, Neuropsychologist, Physician, or other qualified licensed professional permitted to diagnose ASD under state regulations Experience conducting autism evaluations and differential diagnoses Training and proficiency with autism diagnostic tools such as:
ADOS-2 CARS-2
Vineland Cognitive and developmental assessments Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Qualifications Experience working with children and families in clinic, school, or outpatient settings Familiarity with insurance authorization and documentation requirements Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply TN licensed or willing to become TN licensed as well as additional states Schedule & Work Environment Full-time / Part-time options available In-person, hybrid, or contract opportunities may be available Flexible scheduling options Benefits Competitive compensation Flexible schedule Administrative support Opportunities for professional growth and collaboration Health, dental, and vision insurance PTO and paid holidays Future equity/partnership consideration for the right candidate

$75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
