Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and entrepreneurial-minded Psychotherapist to join our team part-time. This role is perfect for a clinician looking to not only provide exceptional therapeutic care but also gain valuable insights into the operations of a private practice. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of individual therapy clients, facilitate psychoeducation groups, and play a key role in our marketing and community engagement efforts. This position requires a minimum of 12 hours a week which may include weekday evenings and weekend morning/afternoon. Option for full-time available!

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide individual therapy sessions, managing a diverse caseload. Plan and facilitate psychoeducation groups that align with our mission and client needs. Contribute to the growth of our practice by participating in marketing activities including but not limited to social media efforts, writing blogs, and creating content that reflects our brand's mission and values. Opportunity to lead and facilitate workshops, and actively engage in community events to increase brand visibility and promote our mission as needed Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and supervisory processes. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinical Director, including but not limited to assisting with the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of DSM-V, CBT, DBT, ACT, or other clinical modalities Ability to manage a client caseload of 10-18 clients Ability to work independently and/or use clinical judgment when needed. Knowledge of clinical documentation including treatment plan, progress note, bio-psychosocial assessment etc. Strong writing skills and a willingness to contribute to blogs and social media. A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in private practice operations. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Licensed in New York State as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent or Limited Permit. Minimum of 1 year experience diagnosing and treatment planning including delivery of psychotherapy services Experience in group facilitation and psychoeducation. Experience and knowledge of mental health in BIPOC communities

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Compensation Structure:

This is a W-2 employee position which includes employer-covered taxes, paid-sick time, clinical supervision, administrative support, and ongoing professional development. Why W-2?
