Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse, APN, Per-Diem, central, NJ

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced NJ Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), for Per-Diem position, to provide high-quality mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse client populations. This role offers a great opportunity for growing, flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through remote patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews for individuals across age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Provide individual therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health interventions, Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices. Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records, medical terminology, progress notes, and treatment outcomes while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and case management teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Experience Proven experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation standards. Background in crisis intervention, case management, diagnostic evaluation Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards for patient care delivery in a remote setting.
