Role:

Right Direction Behavioral Health is looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Specialist to join our growing team in Beachwood, OH. Responsibilities:

Provide direct mental health services and support to clients in individual and group settings Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and service plans Conduct mental health assessments and document clinical progress accurately Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources Support clients in developing coping strategies and life skills for daily functioning Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field Meets state qualifications as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) Prior experience in behavioral health, community mental health, or human services preferred Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and recovery principles Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
