Job Description
Auspicious Community Service (ACS) is seeking a motivated and compassionate QMHP-CS (Qualified Mental Health Professional - Community Services) to provide Mental Health Targeted Case Management (MHTCM) and Skills Training services to children, adolescents, and adults in Center, San Augustine, Nacogdoches, and surrounding areas. This is a field-based position requiring travel to homes, schools, and community settings. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about helping individuals improve daily functioning, coping skills, behavior, and access to resources.
Responsibilities include:
Provide Skills Training (H2014) using approved 15.3 curriculum models , including: START (Social Skills & Aggression Replacement Training) PAYA (Preparing Adolescents for Young Adulthood) Seeking Safety Nurturing Parenting Program Defiant Child/Defiant Teen Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) principles Individual Placement and Supports (IPS - Supported Employment) Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Teach coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, behavior management, and independent living skills Provide Case Management (T1017) by linking clients to resources such as housing, SSI/SSDI, school support, medical care, and other community services Coordinate care with schools, providers, and community agencies Advocate for client needs Provide basic crisis intervention and de-escalation support while following agency safety protocols Complete BIRP notes within 48 hours Ensure all services are tied to the client's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) Maintain compliance with TMHP, Medicaid, and HIPAA guidelines Participate in supervision, trainings, and team meetingsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related field Must qualify as a QMHP-CS in Texas Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required Ability to pass background checksImportant Notice:
This is a non-therapy role . Services provided include Skills Training and Case Management only . Candidates must be able to work independently in the field, travel throughout the service area, and complete documentation on time.Job Types:
