Crisis Manager Job Description Overview Join a great Team! Infinity Counseling Group is seeking a qualified Mobile Crisis Team Program Manager to oversee and direct the delivery of emergency team services to individuals in crisis. We provide great pay, good people to work with, and training commensurate with your role. Our dynamic Mobile Crisis Response Team provides Community Crisis Services CCS in Region 5 to provide rapid behavioral health crisis services and short-term stabilization across Hampton Roads. This role is vital to the success of the Region 5 Crisis System and aligns with DBHDS and DMAS service guidelines. Duties The clinical and administrative supervision of staff, developing and implementing crisis intervention plans, and managing daily operations of the crisis services team to include continuous scheduling. This position performs a crucial role in training and community outreach to promote awareness and preparedness for crisis situations. Assess and evaluate individuals in crisis to determine immediate needs and appropriate interventions. Develop and implement crisis intervention plans tailored to individual circumstances. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources for clients. Conduct training sessions for staff on crisis management protocols and mental health awareness. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports. Stay informed about current trends in psychopharmacology to provide informed recommendations regarding medication management. Advocate for clients' rights and needs, particularly concerning gender issues counseling, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. Mobile Crisis Trained with an active MCR Certificate. Strong administrative and managerial skills. Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in crisis management or mental health counseling is essential. Strong knowledge of art therapy techniques and their application in crisis situations. Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles and practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in high-stress situations. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in crisis intervention. Duties Lead and supervise the mobile crisis team, providing guidance on crisis intervention strategies and clinical best practices. Coordinate intake assessments for individuals in crisis, utilizing diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical terminology to determine appropriate interventions. Develop individualized care plans incorporating behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis as needed. Oversee documentation of medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Manage case management activities, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care coordination within community settings. Implement crisis management protocols during emergency situations to ensure safety for clients and staff alike. Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, educators, and families to deliver comprehensive child & family counseling services. Maintain data collection for clinical research initiatives and ensure accurate record-keeping aligned with CPT coding standards. Promote a positive team environment that encourages professional development in areas such as mental health counseling, PTSD care, and behavioral health interventions.

$90,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
