Role:
The Behavioral Health Clinician, Field-Based plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive behavioral health services directly within community settings across the Greater Richmond Metropolitan Area. This position focuses on providing assessment, counseling, and intervention to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, aiming to improve their overall well-being and functioning. The role enhances the Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) program and focuses on engaging more clients in addiction treatment. To that end, the clinician will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. By engaging clients in their natural environments, the clinician helps to reduce barriers to care and promotes sustained recovery and resilience. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing access to quality behavioral health care and supporting positive outcomes for diverse populations.Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field. Eligibility for licensure as a LPC or LCSW. Experience or demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health interventions and crisis management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work independently in field-based environments while managing a diverse caseload.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in community-based or field settings providing behavioral health services. Experience working with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Knowledge of local community resources and social service systems. Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse populations. Previous experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data reporting.Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments and screenings in field-based settings to identify client needs and strengths. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and care teams. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention, counseling, and psychoeducation. Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social services, and community resources to ensure holistic support. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and service delivery in compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to support licensure eligibility and clinical competency. Advocate for clients' needs within the community and assist in connecting them to additional support services.Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills facilitate building trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Organizational and documentation skills ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards while managing caseloads independently.
