Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Childcare Floater/Breaker to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this energetic role, you will serve as a versatile support for our childcare programs, ensuring that children receive consistent, high-quality care across various classrooms and settings. Your positive attitude and adaptability will help create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children of different ages, from infants to preschoolers, while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education and caregiving. Duties Provide flexible coverage across multiple classrooms and age groups, including infant care, toddler care, and preschool settings Support lead teachers and caregivers by assisting with daily activities, lesson plans, and classroom management Engage children in developmentally appropriate play, learning activities, and social interactions to foster growth and curiosity Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks Maintain a clean, organized environment that promotes learning and safety Communicate effectively with parents and team members to support each child's individual needs and progress Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Classroom experience managing groups of young children in educational or care settings Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; training can be provided if needed Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Join us in making a positive impact on children's lives! Pay:
$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
