Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Childcare Director with great leadership skills and the ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive work culture. You must be highly energetic, dedicated, and an experienced person who is passionate about children. We want to preserve our strong team culture in our school with great collaboration between teachers, management, owners, parents, and management. Responsibilities/Skills Must be qualified/licensed director in the state of Arkansas and have prior experience in a management role at an early learning center or preschool Must have Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education Experience with computer programs including Microsoft Office Develop and maintain a careful and creative year round program suitable for preschool children Ensure a variety of educational techniques are being employed (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children Track teacher's progress and report to management Communicate with parents and teachers regularly to understand the children's background and psyche Collaborate with other educators/teachers Maintain a clean and tidy facility consistent with health and safety standards Proven experience as a Preschool Director Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Cool-tempered, friendly, dependable and reliable Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen Certification in child
