Full-Time Weekend Nanny

A warm, grounded, and highly respected Bay Area family is seeking a seasoned, developmentally focused nanny to join their household team. This is a weekend-focused position working alongside a long-term, full-time nanny. The family is exceptionally kind, private, and values professionalism, discretion, and strong, collaborative relationships within their team. The role supports four children ranging from toddler through school age. The ideal candidate will bring patience, strong instincts, and experience supporting a range of developmental and behavioral needs. The household is dynamic, with schedules that may shift, and the nanny will play an important role in maintaining structure and a calm, supportive environment. This is a four-day-per-week position, including Saturdays, Sundays, and two additional weekdays. The weekday schedule will vary but will be communicated well in advance. The role can reach up to 60 hours per week, though some weeks will be significantly lighter depending on the family's travel schedule. This is a live-out position with flexibility to stay overnight as needed. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

Providing attentive, developmentally informed care for four children (toddler through school age) Creating a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment within a dynamic household Supporting emotional, social, and behavioral development for the children Partnering closely with the full-time nanny, with the ability to both tag-team and work independently Managing school pickups, activities, and frequent driving (vehicle provided) Assisting with child-related household tasks, including thoughtfully organizing children's rooms, toys, and play spaces to ensure they remain tidy, functional, and developmentally appropriate, as well as maintaining order in children's belongings and daily-use areas Supporting the overall flow of the home as needed, in collaboration with a long-standing house manager and support staff Traveling domestically and internationally on occasion and as needed The ideal candidate: Has 10+ years of professional nanny experience within private households Is deeply knowledgeable about child development across multiple age groups Is calm, steady, and highly reliable, with excellent judgment and strong instincts Is comfortable operating within a high-profile home with discretion Is collaborative, respectful, and team-oriented Maintains a thoughtful balance between warmth and professionalism, with strong boundaries Is flexible and adaptable Is a confident driver with a valid license Holds a valid passport, is open to travel, and is authorized to work in the

United States Compensation & Benefits:
