Our Kids Ministry exists to partner with families by providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn about God's love while their parents attend church services and events. We're looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Childcare Attendant who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive impact on families in our church. Schedule This is a part-time position with hours that vary based on the church calendar and ministry programming. Applicants should be comfortable with a flexible schedule, as weekly hours are not guaranteed and may increase or decrease depending on the season and childcare needs.

Current Schedule Wednesdays:

6:30 PM•9:00

PM Beginning September Tuesdays:

8:45 AM•11:30

AM Wednesdays:

6:30 PM•8:45 PM Additional hours may be available throughout the year for special church events, conferences, and seasonal programs. Position Summary Childcare Attendants provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children while parents participate in church services, Bible studies, and ministry events. Team members engage children through age-appropriate play, activities, and positive interaction while ensuring every child feels loved, valued, and cared for. Responsibilities Provide attentive and compassionate care for infants and children. Create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Supervise children during play and classroom activities. Follow all church childcare policies and safety procedures. Assist with classroom setup and cleanup before and after each shift. Sanitize toys and classroom materials as needed. Communicate professionally with parents and ministry staff. Work collaboratively with fellow childcare attendants and Kids Ministry leaders. Respond appropriately to children's individual needs while maintaining a positive classroom environment. Help families feel welcomed and supported during church events. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is: At least 18 years old. Dependable and punctual. Friendly, patient, and enjoys working with children. Able to work well in a team environment. Comfortable interacting with parents and families. Able to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children. Willing to complete a Live Scan background check prior to employment. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification). Supportive of the mission, vision, and values of Peoples Church. Why Join Our Team?
