Special Needs/Afternoon/Evening Nanny | Northridge, CA 91325 | $30-$32/hr DOE A warm, established family in Northridge is seeking a reliable, experienced Afternoon/Evening Nanny to join their household long-term. This is an immediate opening with a consistent schedule and a family that values partnership, structure, and compassionate care. Schedule Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Most Saturdays, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM Occasional flexibility required

Compensation:

$30-$32 per hour About the Role You will care for three children ages 4, 7, and 10. Two children are high-functioning and autism spectrum diagnosed, attending general education classrooms. Experience with ASD-supportive care, behavioral redirection, and maintaining calm routines is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Arrive before children return home; assist with light tidying of children's areas School pickup and activity transportation (reliable vehicle required) Meal and snack preparation for children and parent Bedtime routines including baths, medication administration as needed, and teeth brushing Provide nurturing, consistent, and developmentally supportive care Use positive behavioral strategies, redirection, and creative engagement to maintain routines Requirements Minimum 4 years of full-time nanny experience Experience with or strong comfort caring for children on the autism spectrum Must be able to swim (family has a pool) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Fully vaccinated:

TDAP, TB, COVID
