Bloom Care - 2.9 Rancho Bernardo, CA Job Details Full-time $28 - $30 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Childcare CPR Certification Caregiving Driver's License First Aid Certification Nannying Full Job Description Job Summary The primary focus of this role will be caring for an infant, so candidates should have substantial hands-on infant experience and be comfortable supporting feeding schedules, naps, developmental milestones, and age-appropriate activities. The family also has a toddler, and the nanny will care for both children together one day per week. As such, candidates should be confident managing the needs of an infant and toddler simultaneously while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for both children. The ideal candidate has experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, understands child development, and can create enriching, age-appropriate activities that support learning and growth. We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to balance the unique needs of both children while helping maintain consistent daily routines. This is a 20-25hr/week job. 2 days/week 8am-4pm (flexible on the days) and Sunday's 8am-2pm. Duties Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety at all times. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences. Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime. Implement daily routines, including nap times, playtime, and outings. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns. Light housekeeping pertaining to the children Qualifications Experience with infants and toddlers Knowledge of child development principles, particularly for toddlers and preschool-aged children. Ability to prepare healthy meals that cater to children's tastes and nutritional needs. Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents positively. A genuine passion for educating and nurturing children in a safe environment.
