In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations at our childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Your leadership will inspire staff, support families, and uphold the highest standards of childhood development and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while managing a vibrant team committed to excellence in early education. Duties Supervise daily activities within the childcare center, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols Lead and motivate a team of caregivers, teachers, and support staff to deliver high-quality care and educational experiences Oversee classroom management, ensuring age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies Support staff in implementing curriculum plans focused on childhood development, preschool education, infant care, toddler care, and special education needs Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on children's progress and address concerns promptly Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions—including first aid certification—and performance evaluations to foster professional growth Manage enrollment processes, maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments Requirements Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities Strong classroom experience in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving and teaching strategies Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable Excellent classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment for children Strong communication skills for engaging with families, staff, and community partners Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently Director of site supervisor permit 3 years in working in a childcare center Join us as a Childcare Center Site Supervisor where your leadership fuels the growth of young minds!
