About the Family A warm, quiet, and loving family in San Francisco is seeking an experienced newborn nanny to join their household long-term. The family has recently welcomed a newborn and is looking for a compassionate caregiver to provide attentive infant care during this special season. Their 6-year-old attends school during the day, making newborn care the primary focus of the role. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care for a newborn throughout the day Support healthy feeding, sleeping, and developmental routines Ensure the newborn's safety, comfort, and well-being at all times Assist with the family's transition as they welcome a new baby Occasionally care for the family's 6-year-old child as needed Prepare simple meals and assist with light cooking Complete light household cleaning and laundry while the older child is at school Maintain a clean, organized, and peaceful home environment Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, milestones, and daily activities Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience with significant newborn care experience Strong understanding of newborn development, feeding, sleep practices, and safety Calm, patient, nurturing, and emotionally attuned caregiving style Comfortable working collaboratively with work-from-home parents Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before start date Must provide excellent professional childcare references Must be current on TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella (Chickenpox), and Hepatitis B vaccinations Compensation & Benefits $45+/hour based on experience and qualifications Waymo transportation support provided when applicable If this opportunity resonates with you, please email your resume to recruitment@thecradlecompany.com .
