We have a home in the back of our property you can live in that is detached and private for you to use while helping us. We would pay for the rent and utilities while you work with us and provide a monthly stipend as well as an e-bike to use! The ideal candidate can speak both english and spanish, understands toddler/child development, flexible , and enjoys learning new things, being outside and not a fan of tech as we try to not use technology in our home. We have a lovely property and home we would love to share with you. We have a large garden, chickens, a 9 year old dog, a detached gym to use and live right near old town Arvada with cafes and stores! Responsibilities Provide attentive, and nuturing care for our 3 year old daughter with age-appropriate activities that foster learning, creativity, and social skills. we like to give her independence and freedom to explore and learn instead of doing everything for her or hovering Give lunch and snacks as needed followed by cleaning up the kitchen. She eats healthy food and eats what we eat rather than baby/child food. Assist with daily routines such as dressing, nap times, pickup at daycare at noon on weekdays. She is potty trained but still uses diapers for sleeping time. Maintain a clean and organized living environment through regular cleaning and tidying of children's spaces, including washing clothes as needed and putting away toys Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on children's progress and needs. We try to talk to her like an adult so she knows how to communicate her needs and not whine. Qualifications Proven experience working with 3 year olds in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare work, or teaching. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus. Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities confidently while maintaining a positive attitude and keeping boundries Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers, providing feedback when child is not behaving or listening Flexibility to live on-site in the house which will be provided for free Able to ride a bike as we have an e-bike to use to pickup our child from daycare nearby. We are a busy family with a lot of activities happening between work, volunteering, community work and child stuff. It is helpful to have someone that is flexible and friendly! We hope they can be comfortable in our home, ask questions if they have them, be open to adventure and learning! They are always invited to come to events in the commmunity with us or join us for various activities. We hope the person can bring their culture to the home and teach our child their langauge and even cook some food they love!
