Childcare Center Director Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary with performance bonus opportunities Paid time off and holidays Health and wellness benefits Professional development and growth opportunities Childcare tuition discount (if applicable) Childcare Center Director Requirements & Qualifications Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or related field preferred Large Center Director qualification Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting Colorado Shines PDIS Level 3 credential/training, including the ability to assist in the infant room Strong understanding of Colorado state childcare licensing regulations Experience managing teams, staffing, and daily center operations Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills CPR/First Aid Certification required or the ability to obtain Must be able to pass all required background checks per Colorado state childcare licensing Childcare Center Director Preferred Background & Skills Collaborative management style with strong leadership presence Passion for early childhood education and family engagement High emotional intelligence and professionalism Growth mindset and operational awareness Willingness to support teachers in classrooms as needed Childcare Center Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee daily center operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment Lead, coach, and support teachers and administrative staff Maintain full compliance with all state licensing and safety regulations Cultivate strong relationships and trust with parents and families Drive enrollment growth and retention, partnering with leadership on center strategy Support budgeting, payroll, hiring, onboarding, and team performance If you're a forward-thinking childcare leader eager to make a meaningful impact, apply today to join a team committed to excellence in early education.
