Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care Planning age-appropriate activities, crafts, outings, and educational experiences Supporting children's emotional, social, and physical development Maintaining daily routines, including meals, naps, and school schedules Preparing children's meals and snacks Children's laundry and organization of children's spaces Light housekeeping related to the children Transportation to and from school, activities, appointments, and outings Communicating regularly with parents regarding schedules, milestones, and daily activities Encouraging positive behavior and fostering independence Assisting with homework and educational support when age-appropriate Supporting busy households with flexibility and professionalism Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about working with children Dependable, punctual, and highly professional An excellent communicator with both children and parents Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities Comfortable adapting to different parenting styles and household environments Knowledgeable about child development and age-appropriate activities Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Flexible and willing to collaborate as part of a family team Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, or a combination thereof CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Clean driving record Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Strong professional references Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of professional nanny experience Experience with multiple children Early childhood education background Household management experience Experience traveling with families Flexibility for occasional evenings, overnights, or weekend care Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits Compensation and benefits vary by family and position but may include: Competitive hourly pay Guaranteed hours Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Sick leave Health insurance stipend Mileage reimbursement Overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law Annual bonuses and raises About Peak Nanny Agency Peak Nanny Agency partners with families to find exceptional childcare professionals who are seeking meaningful, long-term positions.
