Job Description

Full-Time AM Nanny/Family Assistant, Darien CT j-20461 This playful, musical, and bustling family in Darien CT is seeking a warm, engaging, and reliable nanny to provide excellent care for their three active children, ages 11 months old, 2.5 years old, and 4 years old (working in conjunctions with a young nanny for a portion of the day)
Location:
Darien CT (Family is primarily located in Darien ~10 min walk from train station, but may eventually move to Old Greenwich. Occasional visits to family in Westport)
Compensation:
$35-45 per hour, paid via payroll
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm
Start Date:
Flexible for the right fit! Anytime from now through August start date
Nanny/Family Assistant Benefits:

Nanny/Family Assistant Responsibilities:
Care for all three children at the family home (collaborating another young nanny) Child-related household tasks such as meal prep, tidying, organizing of children's areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities (Preferred but optional) potential trips with the family 1 or 2 weeks of year to Florida or California Play with children outside, support learning through fun (arts & crafts, reading books, etc) Children's naps
Must-Haves:
Warm, extroverted, capable Hands-on with kids Play with children outside, supports learning through fun (arts & crafts, reading books) Able to set boundaries, teach rules and manners for the kids Keep kids on a schedule, including naps. Able to swim and care for children in water On time arrival (punctuality), organized Proactive partner in raising the children to flag issues or improvement suggestions (parents are out of the house majority of the time) Understanding of introducing solids and feeding babies and toddlers safely Comfortable being paid via payroll Comfortable working alongside other household employees Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate child developmental milestones for 1-6 years of age First Aid/CPR certified Current household staffing includes: Junior nanny/household assistant to help with flexible child schedules and meals Regular cleaners Chef Household dynamic: Value daily time outdoors, play, silliness, music Prefer shared activities so brothers can deeply bond No screens You'll have the support of a younger team member to load-balance, and chef who pre-prepares food Intent to make a long-term commitment Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record 21+ years of age Minimum of a high school diploma Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media screening Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Relevant job history with outstanding references Compensation details: 35-45 Hourly Wage PI4ebc9fb77aa2-25404-40940089
