Preferred Schedule:
Monday
  • Thursday Typical schedule will primarily be 9:00 AM

The child is a very sweet, bright, and sensitive child who thrives with calm, patient, and nurturing personalities. He enjoys connection and engagement throughout the day and is not typically an independent-play personality. He does best with caregivers who are attentive, interactive, and able to provide consistent encouragement, guidance, and companionship. One parent works from home. The family also has one friendly 10-pound dog. Position ResponsibilitiesChildcare & Development Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care Maintain consistent feeding, diapering, meal, and nap routines Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child Assist with ongoing transitions through toddlerhood, including solids, self-feeding skills, and developmental milestones Foster language development through reading, conversation, music, and storytelling Encourage cognitive growth through sensory play, educational activities, and age-appropriate learning opportunities Support gross and fine motor development through climbing, movement activities, drawing, building, and hands-on exploration Promote emotional development, confidence, independence, and social skills Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day Support healthy sleep habits and maintain age-appropriate nap schedules Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress with parents Provide daily updates regarding meals, naps, activities, and overall development Enrichment & Outings Take Child on walks, playground visits, and outdoor adventures Facilitate age-appropriate outings including library programs, music classes, story times, playgroups, and other community activities Encourage exploration, curiosity, and learning through interactive experiences Child-Related Household Support Wash bottles, dishes, and feeding supplies Maintain a clean, organized nursery and play environment Rotate and organize toys, books, and developmental materials Carry out, fold and put away the child's laundry Monitor clothing sizes and identify items that have been outgrown Maintain inventory of child-related supplies including diapers, wipes, snacks, and developmental materials Assist with organization of the child's belongings and developmental spaces Ideal Candidate Profile Prior infant and toddler experience required Strong understanding of developmental milestones and early childhood education Calm, patient, nurturing personality Highly interactive and engaged caregiving style Enjoys spending the day actively teaching, engaging, and exploring alongside children Reliable, organized, and professional Comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable around dogs Seeking a long-term commitment Additional Details Fluent English required Potential travel opportunities may arise periodically and are considered a plus Flexibility for more hours for occasional date nights, or schedule changes Family has a severe cat allergy Sensitivity to strong fragrances, preferred to avoid Child has a mild cow's milk allergy, however improving
