Role:

Coastal Hope Academy is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and motivated Center Director to oversee the daily operations, compliance, and educational leadership of our facility. The Director will manage staff, ensure full regulatory compliance, maintain high standards of care and education, and foster strong relationships with families and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily administrative, operational, and educational functions of the center. Ensure full compliance with all Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing standards, local health department rules, and safety regulations. Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor teaching faculty and support staff. Manage enrollment, conduct facility tours, and build strong, professional relationships with families. Oversee center budgeting, tuition collection, and operational expenditures. Maintain complete and accurate student and staff files in accordance with state laws. Cultivate a safe, supportive, and professional working environment for staff and a high-quality learning environment for students.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Florida Child Care Professional Credential (Director Credential) with a current Advanced Level designation preferred. Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening and drug test. Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Director or Assistant Director in a licensed childcare facility. Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Florida DCF child care licensing regulations and compliance protocols. Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in childcare management software, basic budgeting, and general computer skills. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to renew upon hire).
