Responsibility:
Work with children from six weeks old to five years old
Constant supervision appropriate to the childs age
Keeping the environment safe (home, playground, outings)
Responding to emergencies, injuries, or illness
Feeding meals and snacks (including prep for young kids)
Changing Diapering / toilet assistance
Bathing, dressing, and hygiene
Nap and sleep routines
Providing comfort, reassurance, and consistency Supporting emotional regulation and behavior Building trust and secure attachment
Age-appropriate play and activities Supporting language, motor, and social skills Reading, creative play, and exploration Helping with older with homework
Monitoring for illness or developmental concerns Giving medication if authorized Attending or communicating about medical needs
Setting boundaries and routines Using positive discipline techniques Reinforcing family rules and values
Updating parents/guardians about the childs day Reporting concerns, milestones, or incidents Coordinating with teachers or other caregivers
Cleaning up toys and child areas and making classroom is clean at the end of day
Child laundry
Meal prep related to child/
Children Qualifications:
High school diploma
First Aid and CPR certification
One year experience working with children age 6 weeks to 5 years.
Department of children & Families Introductory childcare training course total of 45 hours including passing the completely examination
Hours:
Availability Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM between Must successfully complete a criminal background investigation level 1 & 2.
