Job Description

Tampa Palms, FL Bayshore Nannies is assisting a warm, professional family in Tampa Palms in their search for a loving, dependable, and engaging career nanny to become a valued, long-term member of their family. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nanny who is passionate about child development and is looking to build a meaningful, lasting relationship with a wonderful family. The family has two young children - a bright and imaginative 3 1⁄2-year-old and an active, playful one-year-old. They practice a loving and respectful parenting style with clear boundaries and are seeking a nanny who shares these values while providing a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment.
Position Overview Start Date:
August 4th (flexible for the right candidate)
Guaranteed Schedule:
Tuesday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Candidates seeking full-time hours may have the opportunity to work additional Family Assistant/Household Manager hours on Mondays and/or Fridays. Compensation & Benefits $29-35 per hour , depending on experience Guaranteed hours W-2 payroll position Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid sick days Health insurance stipend Long-term position (family hopes for a commitment of two years or longer) Responsibilities The family's oldest child attends school during the day, allowing the nanny to primarily focus on caring for their one-year-old through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
Daily responsibilities include:
Preparing breakfast and lunch for the children Planning enriching outings such as parks, music classes, swim lessons, library visits, and other age-appropriate activities Encouraging learning through play, outdoor exploration, reading, arts and crafts, and sensory experiences Maintaining consistent routines for meals and naps Picking up the oldest child from school each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 3:00 PM Caring for both children until the parents return home while helping create a smooth evening transition During nap time, the nanny will assist with child-related household responsibilities, including: Children's laundry Children's meal preparation Loading and unloading the dishwasher Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas Organizing toys and children's belongings For candidates interested in additional hours, Mondays and/or Fridays may include light Family Assistant responsibilities, household organization, errands, and occasional simple meal preparation. The family employs a housekeeper, so this role remains primarily childcare-focused. They are looking for someone who is fully engaged with the children, enjoys planning enriching activities, and takes pride in helping the household run smoothly.
