In this role, you will create a safe and engaging environment, ensuring children's needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development and fun. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking. Ensure the safety of children at all times by monitoring their activities and maintaining a secure environment. Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Support children's learning through educational play, reading, teaching basic skills, and encouraging curiosity. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys, changing bedding, folding laundry, and tidying up play areas. Provide compassionate care for children with special needs or disabilities when required, following individualized plans. Skills Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids. Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond promptly to minor injuries or emergencies. Ability to cook healthy meals and snacks suitable for young children's dietary requirements. Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong understanding of childcare best practices, including preschool activities and early childhood education techniques. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and guardians. Reliable, patient, energetic, and adaptable with a genuine passion for nurturing young minds.
