Family Assistant | Mother's Helper Collyde Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time $25 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Family Assistant / Mother's Helper — Afternoons, Mon-Thu (potential for some Fridays) in Old Fourth Ward, Atlanta $25/hr to start • Use of family vehicle for pickups - Guaranteed Hours - Paid Time Off We're two working parents with four kids (ages 2-8) looking for an organized, dependable person to run our afternoons and lighten the load — so we get to enjoy the best parts of parenting instead of drowning in logistics. This is less "play with the baby" and more "keep the household and the afternoon moving." The core need (non-negotiable): Monday-Thursday, 3:00-7:00pm, every week.

Flexible add-on hours:

Many days we'd love you earlier — some weeks 12-6, some 1-8. Start time flexes 12-1pm depending on that week's needs. If you want more hours, they're there. Occasionally we would need support on Fridays as well, or on school breaks, support starting at 8am. The ideal candidate would be able to flex with the week's needs! What you'd do A typical day starts around noon: household chores, errands, and returns while the house is quiet. At 3pm you pick the kids up from school (in our car) and drive them home or to after-school activities. Late afternoon shifts to meal prep, dinner help, and cleaning up dishes. The goal is a calm, handled household by the time the evening winds down. Light housekeeping, errands, returns, and general household upkeep School pickup and driving to activities (our vehicle provided) Meal prep, simple dinners, and kitchen cleanup Keeping the kids safe, occupied, and on routine in the afternoons What we're looking for A valid driver's license and clean, confident driving record — you'll be transporting our kids Experience managing kids in the 2-8 range (multiple at once doesn't faze you) Genuinely organized and proactive — you see what needs doing and do it Reliable above all: the Mon-Thu 3-7 block has to be rock-solid Comfort with the kitchen and household tasks, not just childcare Details $25/hr to start, room to grow with the right person Based in O4W; school is in West Buckhead Use of our family vehicle for all pickups and driving If you're the kind of person who likes a household that runs well and kids who are cared for, we'd love to hear from you.
