Job Description

The Co-Director partners with the Center Director to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, support staff and families, and maintain a high-quality early childhood education program. This position shares responsibility for creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children, families, and employees. Essential ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Operations Support the daily management of the center. Ensure compliance with licensing, health, safety, and quality standards. Assist with planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts. Staff Management Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training staff. Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback. Help maintain classroom coverage and staff schedules. Promote a positive and professional workplace culture. Family Relations and Enrollment Build positive relationships with families. Conduct tours and support enrollment efforts. Respond to parent questions and concerns in a timely manner. Support family communication and engagement activities. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate child and staff records. Ensure required documentation and compliance files are complete. Assist with enrollment tracking, reporting, and operational tasks. Support marketing and community outreach efforts as needed. Classroom Support Provide classroom coverage when necessary. Support curriculum implementation and developmentally appropriate practices. Monitor classroom environments to ensure quality care and supervision. Qualifications Meet all state requirements for childcare administration. Experience in a licensed childcare setting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with others. Performance Expectations The Co-Director is expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, timely follow-through, accountability, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education for children and families.
Pay:
$38,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
