Child Care Consultant - Harlan, Iowa

West Central Community Action is now hiring for our Child Care Resource and Referral Program We are actively recruiting for a Full-Time Creston, IA-based Child Care Consultant. Child Care Consultants are responsible for recruiting, educating, providing technical assistance to and advocating for child care providers. Consultants also utilize a quality rating system for program planning and staff development. A Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Sciences with an emphasis or education based in Early Childhood, or similar degree is required. Sound technical and computer skills are required for this position. Ideal candidate must have their own dependable transportation, a current and valid driver's license and maintain up to date auto liability insurance. This position will or may have some evening and Saturday hours as needed to offer training and support to child care providers. Please note schedule, is typically Mon thru Fri with other hours or days of the week as needed.
