Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Job description: St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School's Before and After School Program is looking for childcare assistants for the 2026-27 school year. Hours available are 6:50-8:20 a.m. and 2:50-5:45 p.m. Schedules can be flexible.
Responsibilities:
  • To provide a safe and secure environment
  • To provide the tools for learning with a balance of developmentally appropriate activities and materials
  • To be a good role-model who will enjoy actively engaging with children and encourage freedom with responsibility
  • To value parents as partners in their child's education
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Must be at least 16 years of age and willing to undergo a background check
