Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Director to lead and manage our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster a positive community for families and staff alike. Your leadership will inspire excellence in early childhood education, promote best practices in child development, and uphold high standards of safety, compliance, and quality care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the opening of a new school. You will be responsible for creating systems that work and enrolling new families. We are looking for someone who is excited and motivated to build a new community. Our philosphy draws inspiration from Reggio Emilia. We see all children as competent and capable learners. Responsibilities Lead the overall administration of the child care program, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to licensing regulations. Support teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development aligned with best practices in early childhood education. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members to maintain a motivated and professional team committed to high-quality care. Foster strong relationships with families by providing ongoing communication, support, and engagement regarding their children's progress. Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to child care licensing, health standards, and safety protocols. Manage program budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently to ensure a safe and enriching environment for children. Organize community events and activities that encourage family involvement and promote a positive learning atmosphere. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred. Proven background in education administration with experience managing early childhood programs or similar settings. Strong teaching skills with a passion for working with children from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on quality education standards. Knowledge of licensing requirements, health & safety regulations, and best practices in child development. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies. Join us in creating a vibrant learning environment where children thrive! Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
