Child Care Director

The ideal candidate for this Director's position will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience with staff management, family interaction and the Illinois Licensing Standards. We are looking for someone who can: Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people, both staff and families Ensure that the center adheres to health and safety standards, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations Maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations Manage accounts receivable and payable and oversee employee payroll Engage prospective families through center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program Arrange efficient and practical daily plans for numbers of children and staff per classroom Requirements Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field At least two years of experience in a child care management role Knowledge of child care licensing and regulations in Illinois Personal Traits Organizational and Leadership Skills Ability to Multi-task Excel at Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution Ability to
