Care is needed intermittently when the child's daycare is closed or when the child is home sick. Typical weekday hours fall Monday-Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The family would also appreciate support on occasional Saturdays within a similar time frame (10:30 AM up to as late as 10:00 PM, typically for about 4 hours), though availability for this is not required. Advance notice will generally be 24 hours for sick care and 1-2 weeks for scheduled daycare closures or weekend needs. There is a medium-to-large dog and a cat in the home; no pet care is required. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's needs, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. The ideal candidate will be engaging, energetic, and patient.
