CHILDCARE SUPERVISORY POSTIONS AVAILABLE

We're looking for a Child Development Center (CDC) Site Director to lead one of our full-day early learning programs located within a Wichita-area high school. This school-year position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is ready to expand their impact by mentoring others, strengthening relationships, and growing their leadership skills. As a CDC Site Director, you'll lead a team of 3-6 educators while partnering with families, school staff, and YMCA leadership to create an exceptional experience for every child in our care. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 12 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education or a related field. At least one year of experience working directly with young children in a licensed early childhood setting. Experience leading, mentoring, or supporting a small team, such as serving as a lead teacher or in a similar leadership role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Early Childhood Education. Previous experience coaching or supervising early childhood staff. Experience building collaborative relationships with families and community or school partners. Why the YMCA?
