Job Description

Christian Family Seeking Dependable Nanny for
Two Young Children Start Date:
August, 2026
Children:
6-month-old and 3-year-old
Schedule:
2-3 consistent days/week, 8AM to 5
PM Description:
This lovely family is looking for a dependable, engaging, and creative nanny to care for their two children (a 6-month-old and a 3-year-old) starting in August 2026. They value consistency, kindness, along with creativity, and they hope to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, fostering play, learning, and going on outdoor adventures. The position offers 2-3 consistent weekdays, preferably Monday, Tuesday, and/or Friday, from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (with flexibility to start around 9:00 AM). Occasional extra hours may be needed, since grandparents are helping 1-2 days per week and they lead active lives too. Mom works from home and dad manages their beautiful beef farm. The family's Christian faith is central to their lives and affects their parenting style and daily decision making. The children love playing outdoors, singing, reading, creative activities, and outings to the library and park, because they have no screen time in the home. The oldest will start half-day preschool in September. They are seeking someone warm, patient, dependable, creative, playful, and comfortable encouraging independent play, taking the kids on local outings, and building a long-term relationship. Someone in college who is studying education, child development, or a related field is encouraged to apply, with bonus points for CPR certification, early childhood experience, and willingness to help with light child-related tasks like laundry, tidying toys, and keeping the kitchen tidy.
Pay:
$21.88 per hour
