Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Childcare Opener(5:30am-9:30am) to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing the classroom environment at the start of each day, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for children to learn and grow. Duties Open the childcare facility promptly each morning, ensuring all safety protocols are in place before children arrive Prepare classroom materials, activities, and learning stations aligned with developmental goals Conduct safety checks of the environment, including toys, furniture, and equipment, to ensure a secure space Greet children and parents warmly, establishing positive relationships from the start of the day Assist with diapering, toddler care, or infant care routines as needed to promote comfort and hygiene Support classroom management by organizing materials and maintaining an orderly environment Collaborate with teachers and caregivers to implement daily schedules that promote childhood development and behavior management Follow all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary Document attendance and communicate any concerns or observations to lead staff Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Familiarity with early childhood education practices and curriculum implementation Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a caregiving or babysitting role is highly valued Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to nurturing young learners Join us in creating a joyful, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive from the moment they arrive!
