Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations of our childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. Your leadership will foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will coordinate staff, develop educational programs, and ensure compliance with all licensing standards. Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare center, including staff supervision, scheduling, and program planning Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously, including first aid procedures and health regulations Recruit, train, and evaluate childcare staff to maintain high standards of classroom experience and caregiving excellence Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and community partners to support ongoing engagement and communication Oversee classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior management and inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special needs Maintain compliance with licensing requirements related to daycare operations, preschool standards, infant care, toddler care, and early childhood education regulations Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a nurturing yet structured environment Excellent leadership abilities to guide staff through coaching, mentoring, and team collaboration Ability to handle emergency situations effectively using first aid skills when necessary Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to ensure inclusive caregiving practices Effective communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and community stakeholders Familiarity with childcare licensing standards and health & safety regulations Join us in shaping young minds by providing a safe haven where children can explore their potential!
