Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Supervisor to lead and oversee high-quality childcare programs. In this vital role, you will ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Your leadership will promote positive development, support caregiving staff, and foster strong relationships with Staff and families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while maintaining compliance with safety standards and educational best practices. Must be familiar with CLASS, TSGold and willing to learn and grow with the company. Must know how to communicate and manage Staff. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with licensing regulations. Lead and support a team of caregivers and educators by providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, and developmental activities. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development, early childhood education, and social-emotional growth. Monitor classroom environments to ensure they are clean, organized, and conducive to learning and play. Conduct regular safety checks, maintain first aid supplies, and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents using proper caregiving procedures. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to care or development. Ensure staff are trained in first aid, special education strategies, working with children with disabilities, and other relevant certifications as needed. Experience Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or early childhood education environments. Demonstrated classroom experience managing groups of young children across different age ranges including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Prior experience supervising or leading caregiving staff or educators is highly preferred. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional qualifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to childcare facilities is essential for success in this role.
