Cohasset/Scituate Two Full Time Nanny/Household Assistants ASAP Start

A South Shore client hopes to hire two long-term nanny/household assistants to begin as soon as the right matches are found. Care will be for a 3 year old, plus a newborn is expected in October. The family currently resides in Cohasset, but will be moving to Scituate at the end of the summer, so the ability and willingness to work at both locations is a must. Three older children (ages 16, 14, and 12) will be present 50% of the time, but they are mostly self-sufficient. One hire will work 3 weekdays from 7am-6pm (33 guaranteed hours) and the second hire will work 2 weekdays from 7am-6pm plus Saturdays 10am-6pm (30 guaranteed hours). Additional hours are available on occasion via extended end times, date nights, and travel. Care for the new baby will be added in February 2027, coupled with a rate increase. Responsibilities include transportation for the 3 older children until the end of the school year, and household duties include their laundry and meal preparation during weeks they are in the home. Core duties on a consistent basis include planning activities for the 3 year old, preschool drop offs/pick ups, family meal preparation, household laundry, general organization, and helping to support the efficiency of the home. All candidates must be professional, proactive team players with the ability to efficiently multitask. The family values a flexible nature, especially as grandparents visit intermittently throughout the year and each parent works from home on certain days, so comfort with other adults in the home is key. Ideal candidates have prior experience with a range of ages and stages and are willing to travel on occasion.
