Nanny in Vineyard Haven

Overview The Mtoto Agency is seeking a professional, experienced, and engaging nanny to provide childcare support during a wedding season in Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard in June - August 2026. This role is ideal for a warm, reliable childcare professional who enjoys working in event settings and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while families celebrate and enjoy special occasions.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and high quality childcare during wedding related events and in private homes Engage children in age appropriate play and activities Assist with meals, snacks, and basic routines as needed Maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing environment Communicate professionally with parents and event team members Support families throughout the event with flexibility and professionalism Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional nanny or childcare experience Experience caring for multiple children and various age groups preferred CPR and First Aid Certification required Strong communication and organization skills Professional, dependable, and adaptable personality Comfortable working in event and travel settings Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
