Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Center Supervisor to lead and inspire our team of early childhood educators. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. Your leadership will foster a positive atmosphere that promotes childhood development, classroom management, and exceptional caregiving. Duties Supervise daily center activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and licensing standards Lead and support staff in implementing the Frog Street curriculum, focused on childhood development and early childhood education principles Oversee classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving practices for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities Coordinate staff schedules and facilitate ongoing training in areas such as first aid, special education, and working with children with disabilities Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure the center adheres to health and safety protocols including infant care procedures, regulations, and emergency response plans Promote a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork among caregivers and teachers Requirements Preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Proven experience working with children in childcare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Classroom experience managing groups of young children across different age ranges including infants and toddlers Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while maintaining high standards of care and safety Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners Join us in creating a vibrant learning environment where children thrive!
