POSITION

Child Care Associates

PAY RATE

$15.50 per hour

APPROXIMATE TIMES

Days and times are negotiable Hours are between 6:30am - 5:30pm Up to 8 hours per day.

START/END DATES

June 5 through August 14, 2026 SUMMARY Assists site supervisor in providing care, education, supervision, and guidance of children at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to follow directions and have excellent attendance. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents; write simple correspondence and effectively present information. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Must perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains safety and supervision of children at all times while keeping in compliance with the State of Michigan Child Care Licensing. Greets, welcomes, and communicates with all parents and students, continuously interacts with students, works with other child care staff to implement daily planned activities, notifies Site Supervisor or Director of Child Care of problematic issues. Must complete regular professional development trainings including blood borne pathogen training, CPR and First Aide certification. Other duties may be assigned.
