Flexible schedule Paid time off Training & development Position Summary At Birth Toddlers & Beyond, our Center Administrators play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the center while helping maintain compliance with Michigan Child Care Licensing Rules and company expectations. This position is designed for individuals who are organized, professional, team-oriented, and passionate about early childhood education. Administrators support children, families, staff, and leadership by helping ensure the center operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with licensing standards, company policies, and our mission to "Ignite the Spark." A Center Administrator is considered part of the leadership team and may assist with administrative tasks, family communication, staff support, scheduling, compliance monitoring, enrollment support, and overall center operations under the direction of the Center Director and Executive Leadership Team. Coaching and mentorship Professional growth opportunities Work-life balance Team collaboration High-quality early childhood education Building strong relationships with children, families, and staff Responsibilities The Center Administrator may assist with the following duties in accordance with Michigan child care licensing regulations and company policies: Support daily center operations and maintain a safe, organized learning environment Assist with maintaining compliance with Michigan licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies Support staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and ratio monitoring Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and staff records Assist with enrollment processes, tours, and family communication Support implementation of curriculum, classroom routines, and center procedures Monitor classrooms for cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance Assist with staff onboarding, training coordination, and ongoing professional development Support documentation, attendance records, incident reports, and required licensing paperwork Build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners Assist leadership with center goals, quality improvement efforts, and team initiatives Model professionalism, teamwork, and positive communication at all times Step into classrooms as needed to support ratio and program operations Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required Experience working in a licensed child care center preferred CDA, coursework, or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field preferred Must meet Michigan child care licensing requirements for child care staff members Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and staff Ability to multitask and support a fast-paced child care environment What a Center Administrator Means at Birth Toddlers & Beyond At Birth Toddlers & Beyond, a Center Administrator is more than an office role.
