Lead Childcare Aide -
Before and After School Who We Are:

The Child Care Lead Aide is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students in the before and after school program. This role includes leading activities, supporting student development, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure a positive experience for all participants. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including academic support, recreation, and enrichment opportunities Provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for all students Supervise students during program hours, including transitions, snacks, and outdoor play Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff Maintain accurate attendance and program records Communicate effectively with families regarding student participation and behavior Support and guide program staff to ensure consistency and quality of care Ensure compliance with district policies and licensing requirements Maintain cleanliness and organization of program spaces Performs other such duties as may reasonably be assigned Preferred Skills/Certification High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, child development, or related field preferred Previous experience working with school-age children required Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred Ability to work successfully with students, staff, administrators, and families Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Flexible, dependable, and collaborative CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
