This role involves managing staff, developing educational programs, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. Duties Lead and manage the childcare center's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and program development. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that foster children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities. Supervise and mentor staff to promote professional development and effective teaching practices. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Create a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families. Collaborate with community resources to enhance program offerings and support families. Qualifications A degree from a recognized university in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience in education administration or management within a childcare setting is highly desirable. Proven ability to educate children in a nurturing manner while fostering their development. Experience working with students in higher education teaching or training environments is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, parents, and the community.
