✦ Infant Sleep Specialist Overnight Newborn Care Professional Montana Overnight Shifts Part-Time / Full-Time Do you live in Kalispell, Missoula, Bozeman, Helena, Belgrade, Whitefish, Montana? Join our team of dedicated professionals helping exhausted new parents get the rest they desperately need.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Infant Sleep Specialist with The Goodnight Baby Co, you'll provide professional overnight care for newborns and infants (typically birth to 6 months). While parents sleep, you'll handle nighttime feedings, diaper changes, and soothing—ensuring babies are safe, comfortable, and developing healthy sleep habits. This isn't just babysitting. You'll be a trusted professional supporting families through one of the most vulnerable and precious times in their lives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
✦ Care for infants during overnight shifts (typically 8-12 hours) ✦ Feed babies according to family preferences (breast milk, formula, or combination) ✦ Follow safe sleep practices—safety is always the top priority ✦ Change diapers with minimal stimulation to promote better sleep ✦ Support the development of healthy sleep patterns ✦ Document feeding times, sleep logs, and observations ✦ Provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to tired parents ✦ Recognize and report any concerns about infant or parent wellbeing
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✓ Genuine love for babies and passion for helping families ✓ Ability to work overnight hours and stay alert throughout your shift ✓ Reliable transportation to client homes ✓ Strong communication skills ✓ Professional demeanor and respect for family privacy ✓ Ability to pass a comprehensive background check ✓ Must be 18+ years old Bonus points if you have: ✦ Previous infant care experience (nanny, childcare, nursing, doula) ✦ Current Infant CPR/First Aid certification ✦ Knowledge of infant sleep science and development ✦ Experience with breastfeeding support
