Their little one is a happy, playful, and highly engaging toddler who is curious about the world around him and eager to learn. He enjoys puzzles and interactive toys, and is currently transitioning from two naps to one. The family is looking for an experienced nanny who can thoughtfully support his development by keeping him both mentally and physically engaged throughout the day. They would love someone who brings creativity and initiative, incorporating Montessori-inspired play, arts and crafts, sensory activities, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will feel confident making suggestions for new activities, and the family is happy to provide materials and supplies to support those ideas. Safety and attentiveness are top priorities. The nanny should be physically active and able to keep up with a busy toddler, including navigating three flights of stairs and responding quickly during active play. The family is also looking for someone nurturing yet structured, able to follow established routines for naps and meals while helping reinforce language development through words and gestures. Both parents work from home, so the nanny should be comfortable working in a shared environment while maintaining independence and professionalism. The family has a dog, so comfort around pets is important.

Requirements:

Non-smoker Up to date on standard vaccinations, including flu, COVID, hepatitis, and Tdap Clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle Open to future outings with the child, with the understanding that this will be introduced gradually as trust is established

Schedule & Compensation:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Guaranteed 40 hours per week $28-$30 per hour, depending on experience ASAP start date with flexibility for a great fit The family hopes to find a fun-loving, dependable, and energetic nanny who will become a trusted partner in their child's growth and daily routine.
