This is a wonderful opportunity for an infant caregiver who truly enjoys the first year of life and is excited to partner with first-time parents as they navigate each new milestone. Both parents work from home at times, with Mom working remotely full-time and Dad traveling frequently for work. They are looking for a nanny who is confident taking the lead during the day, creating a consistent routine while fostering a loving, engaging environment where their daughter can thrive.

Monday-Thursday Generally 9 AM-5 PM, but need some flexibility for 8 AM-5 PM 28 guaranteed hours per week Pay range $23-$27 per hour, depending on experience Flexible start date (ideally soon) One-year commitment with the possibility to renew About the Position The ideal nanny will have extensive infant experience and feel confident supporting all of the exciting milestones of the first year, from establishing healthy sleep routines and navigating nap transitions to introducing solids and encouraging developmental play as mobility increases. Their daughter currently sleeps independently but is still working toward longer daytime naps. The family is looking for someone comfortable providing one contact nap each day, if needed, to help her achieve a longer restorative sleep while she continues to develop. She also has mild reflux, so she benefits from being held upright for several minutes after feedings. The family values a nanny who is energetic, proactive, and enjoys getting down on the floor to play, read, sing, and encourage age-appropriate development. Someone who is physically active and comfortable carrying an infant throughout the home, including up and down stairs, will be the best fit. Once a consistent routine has been established, the family would love for their nanny to take their daughter on outings to library storytimes, baby classes, parks, and other enriching activities. They are happy to cover the costs of these activities and encourage planning them around her nap schedule. Responsibilities Provide attentive, responsive care for one infant Create and maintain a predictable daily routine Support developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate activities Bottle preparation and feeding Follow the infant's nap schedule and assist with healthy sleep habits Keep baby's bottles, dishes, and play areas clean and organized (only what is utilized during your workday) Transport the child to local activities as she grows Partner with parents while confidently leading the day-to-day care The Family Offers A respectful, collaborative relationship where the nanny is trusted as the primary caregiver during working hours Work-from-home parents who are available if needed, but intentionally give the nanny space to build a strong bond with their daughter No pet care responsibilities (the family handles all care for their dog) No extensive housekeeping beyond cleaning up after the child Paid time off Paid holidays Guaranteed hours, 28 minimum each week Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience Significant infant experience, particularly during the first year of life CPR and First Aid Certified Safe, reliable vehicle with room for a car seat Clean driving record Comfortable working in a home with work-from-home parents Comfortable with a dog in the home (no pet care required) Up-to-date childhood vaccinations, including MMR and Tdap Flu and COVID vaccinations are preferred but not required The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, dependable, and passionate about infant development.
