Child Care - Immediate Need Full and Part Time PRN Child Care - Raleigh BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh Raleigh, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN | Per diem From $14 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications CPR Certification Full Job Description The Nanny / Childcare Caregiver is responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care to children in the home setting. Caregivers will assist with daily routines, supervision, age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment while following each family's individualized care plan. This role requires professionalism, flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond calmly and appropriately in a variety of situations. Essential Responsibilities ChildcareSupervision Provide attentive and responsible care for children ranging from infants to middle school age Supervise children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and routines Encourage age-appropriate learning, engagement, and positive interaction Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times CommunicationDocumentation Follow and complete all tasks outlined in the child's care plan Document care provided, time, attendance, and other required information accurately Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and agency staff Report any concerns, behavioral changes, injuries, or incidents promptly to the Director of Nursing or supervising staff SafetyProfessionalism Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and childcare safety standards Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude while working with families Qualifications Positive attitude and caring personality Previous childcare, nanny, babysitting, or caregiving experience preferred Current TB Test and CPR Certification (Guidance will be provided for obtaining both if needed.)
