The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of North Carolina child care regulations, and experience managing NC Pre K and multi-age programs. This individual will be committed to maintaining high-quality educational standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and community partners. Strong references, and experience as a Level III Child Care Administrator are required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the child care center. Ensure compliance with all North Carolina child care licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and quality standards. Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and schedule staff. Manage enrollment processes and maintain accurate child and staff records. Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders. Monitor classroom quality and provide coaching and support to teaching staff. Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to promote the program and increase enrollment. Manage program budgets, reporting requirements, and operational procedures. Coordinate licensing visits, audits, and compliance reviews. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
