Monday & Wednesday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Flexible schedule of 10:00 AM-6:00 PM may also be considered for the right candidate.
Compensation:
$17-$18/hour About the Family A warm and welcoming Winston-Salem family is seeking an experienced, engaging, and attentive part-time nanny to care for their active 12-month-old son beginning in August 2026. Mom is a university professor and primarily works from home, while Dad is a physician. Their son is bright, curious, active, and eager to explore the world around him. The family is looking for a nanny who will create a safe, nurturing, and language-rich environment that supports his growth and development. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Experienced with infants and young toddlers Warm, attentive, and highly engaging Safety-conscious and dependable Passionate about child development Comfortable with active, hands-on supervision Professional, reliable, and proactive Skilled at creating enriching, age-appropriate activities Experience in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant/Toddler Care, or Speech & Language Development is a plus. Responsibilities Provide attentive, hands-on childcare Foster language development through conversation, reading, music, and interactive play Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities Encourage developmental milestones through play and exploration Prepare child meals and snacks Complete child-related laundry as needed Maintain tidy and organized child areas Support routines, naps, and healthy habits Prioritize active engagement over screen time Family Values This family values: Safety and situational awareness Gentle, responsive caregiving Reliability and professionalism Developmentally appropriate engagement Meaningful interaction and connection Emotional safety, trust, and consistency They hope to find a nanny who will become a trusted and steady presence in their son's life. Schedule Notes The family will travel internationally from June 10-August 2, 2026.

August 3 August 5 August 10 The family will travel again August 12-21, 2026. The regular schedule will begin August 24, 2026, with hopes of building a long-term relationship throughout the school year.
