Child Care Support Staff

About the Position We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated person to join our early childhood education team. This position works with children ages 2-4 in a supportive classroom environment of 10 children with two teachers. Experience is welcome, but not required—training and ongoing support are provided. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing direct care, supervision, and positive guidance to children in a classroom setting Creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Assisting with classroom setup, daily cleaning, and preparation of learning materials Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members Following all licensing regulations, health, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

A genuine love for working with young children Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team Experience in early childhood education is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn and participate in training and professional development
